Resources for students

I try to pass along relevant job/internship postings to undergraduate & graduate students in our GES programs at UMBC.  Here are a few links to sites where I regularly see interesting job and internship opportunities:

Josh’s Water Jobs: This recently came to my attention and seems to be a great site to explore recent job postings across environmental disciplines.

Earth Science Women’s Network & ES_JOBS_NET: The Earth Sciences jobs digest is a great way to hear about new job postings in broad fields linked with environmental sciences.  I find that jobs posted here tend towards those with post-graduate degrees, and include a lot of listings tied to academic jobs (research scientists, postdoctoral scientists, faculty positions, etc).

Dr. Elena Bennett at McGill University has a fantastic set of resources catalogued on her lab’s website.
